Sklandu, paprasta, tiesiog veikia. Naudokite dar kartą.
Greitas įjungimas ir stabili jungtis. Labai patogu 🌟 Naudojau kelionės Madeiroje metu.
Puikus palaikymas, gavau eSIM Jungtinei Karalystei. Problemų nebuvo.
Anksčiau turėjau 3 mobiliuosius, bet interneto ryšys nebuvo geriausias, todėl pradėjau naudotis Blikst ir man tai labai naudinga
The Blikst Cameroon eSIM runs on Orange Cameroun's network, one of the country's two dominant carriers. You get 3G and 4G speeds. That puts you on a major local operator rather than a patchy roaming connection, so everyday tasks like maps, WhatsApp and booking updates work smoothly across the main towns and along the busiest routes.
Douala, Yaoundé, Bafoussam, Bamenda and Garoua all have reliable 4G, and the N3 highway between Douala and Yaoundé holds signal along the route. Kribi beach is well covered. Be honest with your planning, though: Limbe, Buea and the Mount Cameroon climb drop off above the huts, the Far North around Waza and Maroua is sparser, and the eastern rainforest near Lobeke and Dja goes offline in jungle valleys.
Right after purchase you get a confirmation email with your eSIM details, then you simply scan the QR code provided to install it. Do this on home Wi-Fi before you fly, since Douala and Yaoundé airport Wi-Fi isn't always reliable for QR scans. Activation is automatic: the Orange line registers the moment you land at Douala, Yaoundé Nsimalen or Garoua and switch off airplane mode. No kiosk queue, no French registration.
Most modern smartphones are fully compatible with Blikst eSIMs, though a few exceptions exist, so check our detailed compatibility list to confirm your device. Your phone also needs to be carrier-unlocked. On an iPhone you can check eSIM support under Settings, General, About and look for an EID number; on Android you'll find it in the network settings. If those show up, you're good to go.
It depends on your trip. A one-week business stay in Douala or Yaoundé, using hotel Wi-Fi at night, works on 3 to 5 GB. A two-week loop through Mount Cameroon, Limbe, Kribi and the Ring Road fits into 10 GB. Safari and northern-park trips have long offline stretches, so 10 GB covers three weeks comfortably. Long-stay NGO workers or researchers should budget 20 GB or higher.
Yes, tethering and hotspot use are supported, so you can share your Orange Cameroun connection with a laptop, tablet or a travelling companion's phone. It draws from the same data allowance, so heavy hotspot use like video calls or large downloads will get through your plan faster. In the towns with solid 4G this works well; out in the northern parks or eastern rainforest, expect the same offline stretches as your phone.
This is a data plan, so it doesn't come with a local number for traditional calls or SMS. Instead you call and message over the internet using apps like WhatsApp, which is the primary channel in Cameroon for hotel pickups and driver coordination, or FaceTime. An eSIM is a separate digital line, so your physical home SIM stays in the phone. Keep your home number active for banking 2FA codes and use the Orange line for everything else.
For most travellers, yes. Non-African carriers often charge premium roaming to Cameroon, frequently $15 or more per day for US and European visitors. Picking up a local Orange or MTN SIM is possible but means registration, sometimes in French, and can eat a couple of hours on arrival day. A Blikst plan runs a fraction of that daily roaming cost and lands you directly on Orange, online from the moment you arrive.
